Auto Detailing Clay Bar
Auto detailing clay bar is a resin compound known for its use to remove contaminants from the surface of your vehicle. It can be natural or synthetic, though nowadays the use of the latter is more widespread.
The clay can get rid of pollutants and contaminants from not only the surface of car paint, but from the surface metal, glass, and fiberglass as well. It's is very pliable and elastic and mean to be stretched, rolled, and flattened against the applied surface.
How does it work?
The clay bar is meant to slide along the surface of your car and grab contaminants that's stuck on the vehicle. Lubricant should always be used along with the detailing clay so the debris doesn't scratch the automobile.
Of course there are different types of detailing clay available for use, but they are better option over polishing as they don't mess with the paint of the vehicle.
